Dear Friends,
Winter still hasn't left Poland as yet. Therefore, ChSA is trying to warm up students who are tired after the winter exam session through different initiatives and activities.
Two of the ChSA student groups (from
Cieszyn and
Gliwice) set out on a trip to the mountains to really bond together and so they spent their time having interesting discussions, planning the next semester, praying and doing some sports activities.

Another group this time in
Warsaw invited fellow students from one dorm for a film discussion about "Chocolate" it was supplemented with a cup of real hot chocolate and cookies. They had a brilliant discussion with newcomers afterwards and new relationships started. For those interested, special follow-up meetings were organized - an 'investigation course' looking at the identity of Christ and the evidence in favor of his resurrection, as a lead up to Easter.
Graduates in Warsaw spent time discussing topics such as stress, life challenges and evangelism at the workplace.
In
Gdansk and
Gdynia young married couples got together to find out how to improve their marriages and help them prosper. They were also discussing how to lead families in the authority of God's Word and what the needs of our families, children and partners are.
"Are drugs a solution to every problem?" - that was the question asked by students from
Cieszyn. They were searching for solid answers and tried to offer real help to those students going through difficulties, stresses and adversities.
In
Bialystok student group - the youngest 'child' of ChSA - leaders are full of ideas and initiative. They invite students to interesting discussions, they give out ChSA leaflets with information about meetings, they also do many other 'visible' things at the Polytechnic to creatively inform people about ChSA, and to say: 'we are here to tell you about Jesus'.
Having had many years experience, we know that all methods are good to attract people's attention. The next meetings taking place in
Gdansk,
Katowice,
Bialystok and
Lublin will be held for the occasion of national 'Women's Day'. Small meetings, and conferences for young women are a great way to remind them of who they are in God's eyes, encourage them and inspire them in how they can cope with their daily problems.

Students are praying and preparing in their groups for the Easter conference, many will celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection together (this conference is organized mostly by and for foreign students studying in Poland).
All current information about ChSA groups and activities is available on our website:
www.chsa.org.pl.
Student groups need our prayers, wise leadership and coordination. They need strong impassioned and zealous leaders, student members, and also volunteers who will be ready to help them in their mission.
Training leaders, staff and volunteers is very important and we strive to do this with the aim of growing the vision, training skills, finding better methods of working, and encouraging people in leading responsible lives with clear purposes.
I would like to invite you to join us in steadfast prayer for Polish students, international students studying in Poland, Polish universities, professors, lecturers, university teachers and young graduates.
Pray for leaders, staff and volunteers of ChSA, but also for churches (fellowships) where believing students may grow and serve.
And finally, I invite you to be a part of the ChSA mission. How?
You can pray for students, universities, leaders and ChSA staff.
You can encourage and give inspiration (you may help student leaders and ChSA staff in many different ways)
You can collect your tithes as a part of financial support. It will enable us to maintain. The work and projects of ChSA as well as being able to employ morestaff for this important and challenging work.
|
I would like to encourage you, dear friends of ChSA, to join our mission, which can build a better tomorrow - a tomorrow with Jesus. Do you want to see changes around you? Future doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers who will be different people because of hearing and responding to the Good News of Jesus Christ while they are still students.
